VillaMamas is about presenting the best of the Gulf in an accessible and relaxed atmosphere. Head Chef/Founder, Roaya Saleh, has always had a passion for home-cooked food, perfecting dishes passed down through the generations. Her menus are inspired by her heritage and travels. Roaya celebrates the legacy of the many maternal figures who shared their kitchen wisdom with her to create food that is soothing and nourishing. Roaya works closely in Bahrain and the Gulf with small farmers and producers who grow specifically for her. These collaborations with suppliers dictate her menus and are part of the restaurant’s ethos.
Launched in 2012 as the first full-service Bahraini restaurant, Roaya’s food has attracted visitors across the GCC to dine at VillaMamas. Becoming an award-winning restaurant that has generated a huge following & fan base, receiving over 15k guests monthly.
VillaMamas is expanding with the newly launched VM1856 Food truck serving Bahraini street food, Mama Gourmet concept dining where VM mabooch/pickles/products from our very own bottling plant
